Bone Appetit Ocean Beach Pet Supply hosts a fundraiser for its non-profit, county-approved cat and kitten rescue on Saturday, August 2 from 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Raffles for prizes will be held once per hour and free pet food samples and treats will be given out throughout the day. Helping to raise funds will be, people and pet psychic reader, Sindi Somers of Wild and Tame Wellness and Communications. Sindi will offer readings for $1.00 per minute for people and their pets from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. Pets need not be present to receive a reading. All proceeds from Sindi's readings will be donated to Bone Appetit's Cat and Kitten Rescue. Cats and kittens will also be on-site and available for adoption.

Kelly Patri is the owner of Bone Appetit Ocean Beach Pet Supply, a full-line pet supply store with food & supplies for all animals. However, Kelly's commitment goes beyond the storefront, as she is dedicated to saving the lives of homeless cats and kittens through her rescue and adoption facility. To date, Bone Appetit's Cat and Kitten Rescue has adopted out over 500 cats and kittens to forever homes.
All of the cats accepted into Bone Appetit's adoption program come from county shelters or the Feral Cat Coalition, which Kelly continues to volunteer for, in addition to leading her own rescue organization. Once a cat joins Bone Appetit's rescue, they will remain with them until they are adopted.
Currently there are approximately 36 kittens in their adoption program. Older cats are accepted into the program also, but during kitten season, from April to November the shelters are overloaded with kittens. During those months, kittens are mainly what they have.

Their application process includes a fee, that covers the cost of spaying or neutering, FIV/FELV testing, up to date vaccinations, de-worm, de-flea, health check, a FREE vet visit after adoption, nail trim and a store DISCOUNT for your new cat or kitten and your other pets. All money from adoptions goes directly into the rescue program to save other cats and kittens waiting for their new forever homes and families.
