Calendar: San Diego Calendar Coors Banquet Beach Clean-up Dates August 16 General Information Time 3-5pm Location Moonlight Beach, Encinitas Website http://www.coorsbeer.com Categories Free Recreation Social Special Interest Description / Comments Saturday, August 16 will mark the last of this summer's San Diego beach clean-ups, sponsored by Coors Banquet, 91X radio and HelpBlueWater.com, a non-profit organization composed of artists who organize special events to spread environmental awareness  Beaches give to both surfers and the earth; now it's our turn to give back. The clean-up will take place at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, Calif. from 3 to 5 p.m. The first 50 participants will receive a free, custom t-shirt. Following the clean-up, 91X is hosting a party at Belly Up Tavern for guests ages 21+ (143 South Cedros Ave, Solana Beach) from 6 to 8 p.m., where local San Diego bands, The Kneehighs (http://www.myspace.com/kneehighs) and Notorious R.U.G. will perform.
